I did have a friend named Chrissie,
Who one day became somewhat Prissy.
She flew in a Rage
at the sight of a Page.
and remained in a deep drawn Tizzy.
Reminded of Pravda and Izvestia,
I began to seek what was best for her.
So, like a good Sage,
I had it Encaged
and gone was the current Outrage.

You are very expressive and creative in what you write about, BetterCell. I always like reading what you have to say.
Thank you Angela for those kind words.
Hi Barry - I just do not like it when I see someone hurt someone else's feelings. Hej, I am not in a deep down tizzy. I have not been on the computer all day - the reason being that I have been having a hell of a time keeping my head afloat - hypo, hypo, hypo. Finally, now (7PM on 14/11), my head is OK! You can feel it - like you think, yes, THIS is how my head should feel. Vision is clear again. Head is functioning and “awake”. I have spent practically all day in the 40s. After lunch it went up to 110, but then it sunk again and my head was never "right". Ha ha, I guess you knew that! I get so "foggy" in a hypo. Honestly Barry, stay my friend, but I have to open my mouth and complain when I see people getting hurt. Anyhow, that is how I see it.
I wrote the above yesterday 14/11, but it was impossible to leave the message until this morning 15/11!
Another thing - that is great that you now have a CGMS! Yes, I personally wish Kahn could be kicked out of the ADA; loose his position. I do NOT believe he represents diabetics.
Hi Chrissie..........
The people who "get hurt appear to be the ones who are involved in self-destructive behaviors.
Regarding your Hypos.......I understand and would suggest that you examine your Basal Insulin Profile as well as increase the amount of "complex carbohydrates" in your diet.
I do not have a CGMS device Chrissie.
Barry, oh I misunderstood about the CGMS..... I KNOW you mean well, but I DO eat complex carbs and I HAVE worked with the basal rates. SIGH. Right now I am trying to keep careful watch on how many of the hypos I really do not feel.
And Barry by the way, you know very well that the person I am referring to as getting hurt, is a blogger and is NOT either of the two girls in your last entry entitled "Can You Guess?" You KNOW I found this entry just plane funny! Just to setr the record sraight!
I tagged you fro the 7 meme. See my blog for the rules pls!
Chrissie in Belgium
came all the way over here to NYC to "Tag" me.
So w/o further ado, I will list 7 Facts about myself.
1. I do not need numerous things to define who I am.
2. Animals do not intentionally hurt, but people do.
3. No living entity be it plant, animal, person is immune from Disease.
4. Some "Parents of Children with Diabetes" appear to be more interested in themselves and more involved in attention seeking behaviors than they are for their child who has T1DM.
5. I am not impressed by a person's possessions only by their character.
6. I know who I am and do not need Fads or other pieces of trash to get in the way of decisions that I can make for myself.
7. I know many things that cannot be defined by common tools of inquiry.
Anyone with or w/o Diabetes is free to communicate their own Input.
I agree. Thanks, Better Cell!
